Hi Nic,

@vpz: In Safe Mode, our driver is not loaded.  It shows the driver in your device manager of course, but it is running off the in-box driver (in this case the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter driver).  What version is the BIOS in your system?  Additionally, can you check your BIOS settings and see if there are options for setting the Primary Display Adapter?

Yes, Intel driver isn't loaded in Safe Mode, but there is a difference how Microsoft Basic Display Driver is loaded. In Safe Mode it loaded from the beginning and with highesgt display resolution 1920 X 1080. If I switch to normal mode then Intel Driver fails and Instead Microsoft Basic Display Driver is loaded with lowest resolution. By the word, dxDiag in both cases shows  Basic Display Adapter driver, VRAM 256 Mb (instead 2 Gb) and 1920 x 1080.  But by eye it is visible tghat resolution is the lowest in normal mode.   As I may suppose during iniciation Intel Driver try to select lower resolution when it can't start with assigned resolution (1920 x 1080) and when it fails in lowest it is switch on OS driver.

My BIOS version is 202.  The only Graphic configuration option in Bios is "DVMT Prealocated", which is set to 64M (it is the lowest possible value from 64, 128, 256, 512). Other Bios Intel options are:

- Intel Virtualization Technology - Enabled

- Intel AES_NI - Enabled

- Intel Anti-Theft Technology - Enabled

     - Enter Intel at suspended mode - disable
