@nicolaj, OK, when the display is connected directly to the Nvidia graphics adapter, you will only have the Nvidia hardware function and features enabled. Quicksync will not function through the Nvidia adapter. Quicksync is a Intel HD Graphics driver and hardware feature and you will need to connect your display to the HDMI or DP connection on the motherboard to use Quicksync.
Additionally, when using an add on graphics adapter such as Nvidia, you mush install the Intel HD Graphics driver first and then install the Nvidia drivers. Also, you must set the Intel HD Graphics as Primary Graphics Adapter in the system BIOS.
