Dear Alan,
Thank you very much for the reply. I have tried everything on the list, and the problem still remains, the driver crashes during video playback:
Locate and install the latest graphics driver from your computer or motherboard manufacturer.
Done, didn't change anything.
Find and install the latest generic version of the Intel® Graphics Driver.
Done, didn't change anything.
Update the Microsoft* .NET Framework software on your computer
I had hopes this could be a solution, so I updated to 4.5.2. But the problem still remains.
Ensure that your Microsoft* operating system is up to date
All updates installed.
Does the issue occur frequently or is it a random issue?
I have observed the crashes of the driver only during video playback.
When was the last time the system worked without errors? What changes were made since this time, such as driver updates, adding hardware, or installing software?
Never, the problems started immediately when I upgraded my pc to MSI H97-G43 & i3 4360.
Do you have the latest system BIOS for your computer?
Yes.
Does the issue happen when your monitor is set to a particular setting?
No, it happens in all frequencies (23p, 50p, 60p). The resolution is fixed, as I have connected the pc to a full HD TV, through HDMI.
I am out of ideas on what to try next. MSI (the mainboard manufacturer) suggested to change the PSU, but this is an expensive change (I have a corsair one, 550W, pro series with 7 years of guarantee).
